The Device Magic Database Mapping feature allows you to plot the submissions of a form on a Google Map.
Set up your Form
The first thing you need to do is create/use a form that contains either or both of the following:
Any Question with a Geostamp
You can enable Geo-stamping in the Advanced Settings section of each question. In the sample below the Geostamp option has been checked for a Signature Question.
Once you've created your form, Save & Exit.
At this point, you'll be redirected back to the Forms page where you can have a look to see if you have the Device Magic Database added. If you do not, check out this article to see how to add it to this form.
Make a Submission
Next, on your device, fill out the a form for each location you would like to map, then Submit.
After this has been done, each submission will be visible in the Device Magic Database under the Submissions tab.
View on Map
At the top of the entries page, click the button that says View on Map.
This will take you to a new page with a Google map that contains all the locations you entered.
The map can also be viewed in full screen mode by clicking the Fullscreen button.
On the right, you can filter by question and submission dates.
Click on one of the red marked points on the map to reveal data relating to that point. Click the X at the top right to close.
Note: If you are using a geostamped Image or Signature field, an link with an option to view the image full sized with be displayed. When you click on the link, the image will open in a separate tab.
