Recognizing Stuck Submissions
When you submit a form on your device, it is sent to the Submissions tab to process until it has successfully reached the Device Magic Servers. Usually you will see a ✓ symbol on the submission, which means it was successfully processed and submitted.
In some cases, a submission will fail due to an inability to reach our servers. If a submission fails to process, you'll see a ⚠️ symbol in your Submissions tab in the app.
When a submission fails, there are a few steps you can take to ensure that your submission is received.
On Android, swipe the submission to the right and you'll have the option to retry the submission.
On iOS swipe down on your Submissions list to refresh and retry pending submissions.
Hard Close and Retry
If retrying the submission doesn't help, the next step would be to try the following:
Hard-close the app
Switch the device off and on again
Connect to a strong wifi
Plug in the device to charge
Retry the submission by going to the Submissions tab and swiping right (Android) or down (iOS)
Leave the app open on this tab for a while
